The Heart Of A Banana Flower

The Heart of a Banana Flower is a documentation of four generations of women living together in a middle-class household in Chennai. Through this series, Pavithra looks at the motherly gaze, various exchanges of love and labour in the family and the playful ways the domestic space gets altered to accommodate new objects.
